Catching up
I missed a week... I was down in the Manti-Lasal National forest near Ferron, UT. We spent a few nights up on the mountain, the weather was great! Mornings were a bit cold, but nonetheless great weather. We fished at a family favorite spot, Willow Lake. The fishing was hot, we pulled in a mere 54 fish over a 2 day period. This time of year in the mountains is great. The elk were bugling, shots were fired...wonderful. I caught the winner of the trip, a tiger trout about 21 inches long and 3 lbs, pretty good fish. All in all, the trip was great!

Stranger Danger...
This week I was assigned to buy a stranger a coke. Saturday I went to a farmer's market in Spanish Fork and bought a box of Fuji apples (delicious by the way). While paying for my apples I told the attendant that I would pay for the next customer. The family behind me in line bought a few apples for their kids. When the husband went to pay for the apples and was told they had been paid for already his reaction was great! The attendant told him that I paid for his purchase and he owed nothing. I watched from the car as the conversation between the man and attendant went on. The attendant pointed me out, the husband began to walk over toward my car. I left before the man got over to me. I wonder what he was going to say, I imagine a thank you was in store. The experience fun, and it made me feel good.
PS- The draw back... I gave the attendant 8.00 because I didn't know how much the purchase was going to be. Last time I checked 3 apples aren't 8.00!

cold
The cold rolled in this week. I can't say I am too excited about this. It is not a pleasant sight looking onto the mountains and seeing snow capped peaks. I would like for fall to stay longer, year round preferably. Winter brings an end to hunting season, mountain activities, and so many other recreational activities. I wishing for winter to hold back as long as possible.
